Levon Helm, a longtime Woodstock resident and former drummer for The Band, sat in with Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band Tuesday night at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Ringo feels snubbed by radio stations
Ringo Starr has given up trying to get his music played on the radio, claiming he's too old at 67 to continue pursuing the campaign. Starr has spent much of 2008 promoting Liverpool 8, his 14th studio album. But he claims campaigning for his music to be heard on the radio is a lost cause. [more...]

Ringo Starr kicks off 10th All-Starr Band tour
Ringo Starr kicked off his 10th edition of his All-Starr Band last night in Niagara Falls. Joining Starr on the road are veteran All-Starrs Colin Hay of Men At Work, Billy Squier, Hamish Stuart of the Average White Band and Paul McCartney's band, and Edgar Winter. John Lennon's motorbike sells for $72,000 at celebrity auction
A Honda bike owned by John Lennon and Ringo Starr which Lennon used to whiz around his country estate, fetched more than five times its estimate yesterday. The 1970 Honda 160Z "monkey bike" was part of Bonhams Entertainment Memorabilia sale in London's Knightsbridge and realised £36,000. [more...]

Edgar Winter flattered and thrilled to be in Ringo's All-Star Band

Ringo spotted in Niagra Falls preparing for gig next week

Vandalized Ringo topiary to be repaired
A foliage sculpture of ex-Beatle Ringo Starr which was beheaded by vandals has been taken away to be repaired leaving the Fab Four looking more like the Fab Three. Zak Starkey to be replaced as Oasis drummer?
Drummer Zak Starkey will play no further role in recording singles for the forthcoming Oasis album, it's been reported. Starkey, who has been an unofficial member of the band since 2004, has apparently fallen out with guitarist Noel Gallagher.
