Brian Wilson opens up about life, lyrics on new CD
Brian Wilson's new homage to the 60's starts with an even earlier touchstone. "I always liked that song," he says of That Lucky Old Sun, first popularized in 1949 by Frankie Laine. Opinion: Brian Wilson setting bad precedent with fans?
Brian Wilson is reportedly so upset about fans criticising a recent gig, he has offered to reimburse their tickets out of his own pocket. Could he be setting a dangerous precedent? Had Babyshambles, Lily Allen or Amy Winehouse offered to pay fans they'd repeatedly let down by no-shows or all-too-brief performances, they'd be bankrupt. [more...]

Brian Wilson was, in a way, almost a figurehead at his own show Tuesday night at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, he didn't always sing, and he rarely played and instrument. And you know what?
