Paul McCartney Halifax concert a no go It appears Halifax will not host a Paul McCartney concert this summer. The promoter who was working on bringing the former Beatle to town says the timing was off, but he says that doesn't mean it couldn't happen some time in the future, and he's hopeful they can make it happen next year. Some Canadian fans not happy with Sir Paul Paul McCartney's stance against Canada's controversial seal hunt has some fans saying they will boycott his Halifax concert if he comes to the Commons this summer, upset that he would consider doing a concert in Atlantic Canada just two years after his highly publicized visit to protest the seal hunt. McCartney may be on long and winding road to Halifax Canadian promoter Harold MacKay played host to Paul McCartney's senior tour staff this week. "They were very impressed with everything they saw.
