William F. Ludwig II passed away yesterday at the age of 91. Anybody who has ever seen the Beatles perform will immediately know that name. William F. Ludwig II was the founder of the Ludwig Drum Company. It was a Ludwig drum kit that was placed on the stage for Ringo to play on the Ed Sullivan show in 1964. [more...]

| John and Paul's last session 34 years ago this week |
This week is the 34th anniversary of the last time that Lennon & McCartney jammed together. This session, recorded sometime between March 24 and March 31, 1974, can be heard on the rare recording entitled "A Toot and a Snore in '74."
