Chris Daughtry performs Beatles tune at Revolution Lounge [Posted by Adam Kane on Monday, 04/14/08 12:56 am] [Digg This] American Idol sensation Chris Daughtry performed for a small audience last night, where he played a cover of a Beatles tune at the Beatles-themed Revolution Lounge. Daughtry performed Helter Skelter from the Beatles White Album, and was joined by his friend Ed Kowalczyk, lead singer for the band Live. Tickets for the show were put up for auction on eBay. After his elimination from American Idol in 2006, Daughtry's self-titled debut album sold more than 1 million copies in just 5 weeks. Daughtry is the fourth most successful American Idol contestant in history, behind Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Clay Aiken.
