Now And Then: You heard it here first, last year! [Posted by Dave Haber on Wednesday, 04/02/08 6:30 am] [Related Posts] [Digg This] It's all over the news today. Sources say that the last unfinished John Lennon track could see the light of day soon. Called Now And Then, the new track was unearthed with Real Love and Free As A Bird during the Fab Four's Anthology series in the 1990s. Regular readers of this news blog will remember we told you this same news way back in last year, on December 26, 2007! These new reports of the rumor don't add much more information to our original report, other than that this new track may be released as tribute to Norman Smith, who passed away last month. An "insider" is quoted as saying, "There have been discussions about finishing Now And Then. It would be quite a task. The process of re-recording the two tracks that charted was fairly painless because the songs were almost complete. Now And Then will need a significant amount more work to get it into a condition where it could be released." Stay tuned to WGO and get your Beatles news before the rest of the world!
