I just want a hoola-hoop [Posted by Dean Wien on Thursday, 12/20/07 11:40 am] [Related Posts] [Digg This] With the success of the Alvin & The Chipmunks movie, Capitol Records just released The Chipmunks Greatest Hits: Still Squeaky After All These Years. This collection includes The Beatle songs "She Loves You", "Please Please Me", and "Can't Buy Me Love". These 3 Beatle songs were taken from the very successful Chipmunks album entitled "The Chipmunks sings The Beatle Hits". Hopefully Capitol Records will reissue the complete Beatles Chipmunks album in CD form. (It was reissued once in 1995 but has since gone out of print.) Additional tracks on the new collection that are worth a mention are Herman's Hermits "I'm Henry The VIII, I Am", The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be late) and The Chipmunk Song with the legendary Blues group Canned Heat (Bonus Track).
